Early childhood screening for children who will be eligible for kindergarten in 2002 and 2003 will be conducted the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Early Childhood Center at the East Brainerd Mall.
The Brainerd School District provides the screening free of charge for all children attending Brainerd area schools, public or private.
The parents of children whose birth dates are between Sept. 1, 1996, and Aug. 31, 1997, and who have not been through early childhood screening are asked to call 829-0412 to get on the list so they can be contacted for an appointment. This screening does not replace a well child exam with a doctor.
