BAXTER -- Marie Burley, age 70, resident of Baxter, died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Marie was born Aug. 12, 1934, in Holland, Minn., to Peter and Fannie (Jagt) DeBoer. She was a 1978 graduate of the Anoka-Ramsey School of Nursing and worked as a RN until her retirement. She was a member of Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter.
Survivors include her beloved husband Don; her six children, Pam (Darrin) Polansky, Donald "Butch" (Diane) Teeselink, Pat Boyum, Lynn (Pete) Bauer, Paul (fianc Joan) Teeselink, Nancee (Jack) Sutton; her four stepchildren, Terri (Al) Smith, Don Burley Jr., David (Joanne) Burley, Tom (Steffani) Burley; 38 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Martin and Ronald; three sisters, Harriet, Dorothy and Annette; and sister-in-law Pat.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul and Arend and three infant siblings.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter with Pastors Dan Werthman and Dwight Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. Visitation will be at the church the hour prior to services.
Memorials are preferred to the American Stroke Association or Lakewood Church.
Arrangements are by Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
