The Pine River Area Art Club and Pine River-Backus Community Education have teamed up to offer a watercolor workshop next week with artist Rose Edin.
The two-day workshop will concentrate on various watercolor techniques, including the use of washes and under-painting, organizers said. It is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at First Lutheran Church of Pine River.

Faribault guitarist Steve Cloutier is the featured artist in the next Little Falls House Concert on May 3, starting at 7:30 p.m. at Jason's Casual Dining.
Familiar to area folk music fans, Cloutier appeared earlier this year in the Staples Centennial Auditorium's performing arts season and has played numerous other lakes area venues over the years.
Known for his guitar-picking skills, Cloutier has been a finalist in the National Fingerstyle Guitar Competition.
Tickets to his Little Falls performance are $7, available at the gate.
Paul Bunyan Playhouse has announced its 52nd annual summer season in a ticket-sales solicitation mailed earlier this month. This summer's lineup includes six productions, starting June 12 with "The Robber Bridegroom" and ending Aug. 7-23 with "The Wizard of Oz."
As usual, the cast will include professional actors and actresses, as well as community players selected through audition. Season tickets are $57 and $60, but tickets for individual performances also will be available. Call (218) 751-7270 for more information.
