A safe containing more than $800 in cash and checks was taken from the Brainerd Dairy early Friday. Entry was gained by forcing the rear door and the safe was evidently loaded into a truck.

A sister airship of the famous Spirit of St. Louis, proudly sporting two pontoons, took off from the waters of Rice Lake at Lum Park this morning. The well known pilot, C. R. Dusty Rhodes, was at the stick.
