ROYALTON -- Kenneth "Ken" J. Peterick, 59, Royalton, died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at home.
He was born Aug. 19, 1942, in Little Falls to Roman and Alice (Thomalla) Peterick. He married Marie Richmond on July 1, 1961, in Royalton. He worked for Guggenberger and Bastien and Son Construction. He was an operator in the 49B union since 1963 and laborer in the 563 Union since 1965. He worked for PCL Construction until he became ill with cancer. He then retired. He was a member of the Royalton Sportsman Club, the Two Cylinder Club and a retired volunteer firefighter.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Russell Peterick, Sauk Centre, Richard Peterick, Bowlus, Robert Peterick, Royalton, and Randall Peterick, St. Cloud; 12 grandchildren; and three brothers, LeRoy Peterick, Sebeka, Ronald Peterick, Royalton, and Glenn Peterick, Royalton.
His parents, a grandson and a foster child, Doug Billmeyer, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton with Father Laurn Virnig officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Parish Cemetery in Royalton.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at Brenny-Karlinski Funeral Home in Royalton with Christian Mothers praying the rosary at 4:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7 p.m. Friends also may call an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
