Faye Brown (left), Dorothy Carlson and Glenn Brown, members of the Alpha Chapter, O.E.S., helped Jane Patrick, McDonald's public relations employee, pour 93 ice cream buckets, totaling 465 quarts of pop tabs Tuesday. The tabs will be sent to the Ronald McDonald House in the Twin Cities in the name of Nicole Koester, granddaughter of Joe and Elsie Melby of Baxter. The Eastern Star members have been saving pop tabs as a community project since 1991 and during that time have collected a total of 3,910 quarts.
