SAUK RAPIDS - Brainerd's Sean Halverson shot a 2-under 70 at in a Central Lakes Conference meet Tuesday at Wapicada Golf Club to take medalist honors in a Central Lakes Conference meet.
"(Halverson) had a great round," Warriors coach Brian Wallace said. "He had it at 4-under-par at one point and was able to finish with one of the best scores in team history. Two-under is great score and is one heck of an accomplishment."
The Warriors finished in a tie for third with a 328, improving on a sixth-place finish in their first meet.
Brainerd tied St. Cloud Tech at nine shots off the pace set by Alexandria, which carded 319.
The finish moves the Warriors into fifth in the CLC standings with 10.5 points.
Michael Foley shot 82 and Jackson Ronnei 87 for Brainerd.
