Hoppe leads Warriors to fourth at Wapicada

ST. CLOUD - Molly Hoppe shot 92 to lead the Brainerd Warriors to fourth in the opening round of the Central Lakes Conference girls' golf season Monday at Wapicada Golf Club.
The Warriors shot 424. Alexandria claimed the early lead with a 336. The players finished just nine holes because of lightning so their nine-hole scores were doubled.
Amanda Svoboda shot 108, Erin Olejnicak shot 110 and Morgan Twamley carded 114 for the Warriors score.
