Florence V. Lossing

CROSBY -- Florence V. (Ryappy) Lossing, 86, of Crosby, died on April 20, 2005, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born in Superior, Wis., to Fred and Vivviean (Clark) Ridlon. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Crosby, and its ladies aid.

She is survived by three sons, LeRoy (Karen) Ryappy, Deerwood, Marlyn (Sharron) Ryappy, Brainerd, Gary (Donna) Ryappy, Crosby; daughter, Linnea (William) Thoms, Ironton; brother, Warren Ridlon, Aurora; sister, Marjorie Wakefield, Ironton; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Arthur Ryappy; two grandchildren; five brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery, Crosby. Friends may call on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the Koop Funeral Home, Crosby, and an hour prior to services Monday at church.
