Central Lakes College will host a free Earth Day Fair 9 a.m.-2 p.m. today in the commons area outside the Brainerd campus cafeteria.
Government agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses and CLC students and organizations will have booths, informational displays, and product samples. Reusable Earth Day cups will be available. The cafeteria will offer free drink refills after an initial purchase.
Following is a partial list of participants: Aqua Tech, Audubon Society, AW Research, Camp Ripley, CLC Cafeteria, CLC Natural Resources Program, CLC Psychology Club, Crow Wing Lakes and Rivers Alliance, Crow Wing Power, Environmental Politics students.
Environmental Studies students, Fleet Farm, Habitat for Humanity Restore, DNR, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Northland Arboretum, Paul Bunyan Nature Learning Center, Phi Theta Kappa, Rainbow Healing Center, Secular Franciscan Order, Sunshine Gardens, Sustainable Farming Association of Central Minnesota, Wildrose Farms and Woodspirit Gardens.
Students in the Environmental Politics class are coordinating the event.
