Johnny Damon highlighted his huge weekend by hitting a grand slam as Boston completed a doubleheader sweep at Kansas City.
Damon also homered in the first game, and Manny Ramirez connected twice for Boston which has won six in a row.

Jose Valentin homered during an eight-run burst in the first, and pinch-hitter Ray Durham delivered a tiebreaking single in the seventh for Chicago.

Ichiro Suzuki tripled twice and scored two runs as Seattle overcame two home runs by Alex Rodriguez in his former ballpark to defeat Texas.
Athletics 6, Angels 5
Pinch-hitter Greg Myers hit a three-run homer off Troy Percival (0-1) in the bottom of the ninth inning to win it for Oakland.
It was Percival's first blown save in three chances this season. He was making his second appearance since coming off the disabled list Thursday.
The Athletics had not hit a game-ending home run since Rickey Henderson did it on May 9, 1995. Eric Chavez and Scott Hatteberg also homered for the A's.
The Angels lost for the fourth time in five games.
