S-M's Lindaman, Coughlin finish first in tourney

PARK RAPIDS - Mike Lindaman and Guthrie Coughlin went unbeaten in three matches for Staples-Motley to finish first at the Park Rapids tournament Saturday.

Lindaman defeated Jake Greenwood (East Grand Forks) 6-0, 6-0 for the No. 2 singles championship. Coughlin beat Joel Ryan 7-6, 6-1 for championship at No. 3.

No. 1: Jordan Peterson 2-1, lost in finals to Tyler Halmquist (Moorhead) 6-2, 6-2.

No. 2: Mike Lindaman 3-0.

No. 3: Guthrie Coughlin 3-0.

No. 4: Austin Hirschey defeated Jed Jansen (Long Prairie-Grey Eagle) 6-1, 6-2 to finish third.

Doubles

No. 1: Adam Cox-Grant Longbella 1-2.

No. 2: Josh Solway-Shane Suess 1-2.

No. 3: Dale Vogt-Nick Johnson 1-2.
