STAPLES -- Frank Kobliska, 74, Staples, died Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at his home.
He was born July 28, 1925, in Chickesaw County, Iowa, to Frank and Mary (Kastanek) Kobliska. He married Joyce Sanders on May 6, 1950, in Little Falls. He worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad for 14 years as a foreman from Minneapolis to Pembina, N.D. He lived in Staples since 1958. He owned and operated Ideal Blacktopping from 1958 to 1990. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Steven Frank Kobliska, Staples; a daughter, Deanna Joyce Kobliska, Staples; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
His parents, his wife, a son, Michael and a brother, Joseph, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Staples with the Rev. Stephen Sveom officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
