Pillager rounds up Rangers 25-1

PILLAGER - Ally Hunstad picked up her first career pitching win with 11 strikeouts and doubled for Pillager as the Huskies defeated the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 25-1 in non-conference softball Friday.

Emily Doss added a triple for the Huskies and Kaylie Hanson doubled.

Aitkin 5, Ogilvie 4

AITKIN - Emily Mehr scored on a Stephanie Brodmarkle single to help the Gobblers to a 5-4 Great River Conference win over Ogilvie Friday.

Kelsey Klucas and Kristy Hoge both doubled for Aitkin. Mehr struck out six and gave up four hits to get the win.

BEMIDJI - The Bemidji Lumberjacks outlasted the Little Falls Flyers for a 5-4 nine-inning non-conference softball victory over the Little Falls Flyers Friday.

Ashly Erickson was 3-for-4 with two RBIs at the plate and allowed five runs on 12 hits in 8 1/3 innings. She struck out two and walked four.
