A total of 9,500 turkeys arrived by chartered plane at the Brainerd Crow Wing County Municipal Airport from California. The day old bronze poults were taken to a farm owned by Earl Olson Farms, Inc.

More than 2,000 outstanding farmers and their families of the Brainerd Trade Area will be guests tonight of the Brainerd Civic Association at the annual Farmer's Party to be held this year in the Washington High School.
