LITTLE FALLS -- Charlotte E. Bass, 85, Little Falls, died Monday, April 17, 2000, at home.
She was born Feb. 15, 1915, in Darling Township, to Charles and Elsie (Johnson) Lind. She attended country school district 74 and graduated from Little Falls Community High School. She attended normal training in Little Falls and received her teacher's training diploma. She married Stanley Bass on March 22, 1944. She worked as a teacher and secretary at Camp Ripley. Her husband died Sept. 10, 1972. She was a member of the Heartland Symphony Board, Toastmistress, American Legion Auxiliary, National Association of Retired Federal Employees and First United Church where she was active in Bible study and the Eve Circle.
Survivors include many cousins, including Hildur Hallberg, Little Falls; a niece; and three nephews.
Her husband died earlier.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Church of Little Falls. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Friends may call at Shelley Funeral Chapel of Little Falls from 4-7 p.m. Friday and at the church from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
