The Crow Wing County Board is seeking input from the community, county department heads, other government officials and employees in the process of hiring a county administrator.
Crow Wing County Board Chair Terry Sluss announced this week that the input will be received by letters addressed to the commissioners and on a newly developed survey program option available on the county's Web site at www.co.crow-wing.mn.us. Letters can be sent to Crow Wing County Board, County Courthouse, 326 Laurel St., Brainerd, MN 56401.
"The process of hiring a county administrator to act in a day-to-day basis on behalf of the policies developed by the county board is an important historical step for our growing county," said Sluss. "The board would like input from as many community sources that are willing to present their comments, before it makes a final decision."
The Web site will be active until May 5 and the letters should be sent in by this time.
