Barbara Ellingson
AITKIN -- Barbara Ellingson, 60, Aitkin, formerly of Minneapolis, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
She was born April 30, 1942, in Minneapolis to John H. and Dora McBroom. She graduated from North High School in Minneapolis. She was co-owner and vice president of Components Group in Minneapolis for 26 years. She was a CPM representative and a licensed real estate broker. She was employed by Coldwell Banker Beacon Realty Ltd. in Garrison. She was a member of the Greater Lakes Association of Realtors, St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood and St. James Catholic Church in Aitkin.
Survivors include her husband, E. Paul Ellingson, Crosby; three daughters, Kimberly Pape, Rochester, Lesley Arnold, Aitkin, and Lynn Roettele, Aitkin; two grandchildren; and a brother, John McBroom, Maple Grove.
Her parents and a grandchild died earlier.
Services will be noon Monday at St. James Catholic Church in Aitkin with Father Paul Fruth officiating.
Friends may call an hour before services Monday at the church.
