Brainerd voters will decide this fall if they want to pay more for additional bus service. The new bus system, which would replace the current fixed route service, is designed to provide door-to-door service, seven days a week, by calling a dispatcher.

The Lincoln School Basketball team defeated the Whittier team last night by a score of 20 to 5 and tonight the Lincolns play a mixed grade quint at the high school.
100 years ago (1900)
The ball game between the high school boys and the heavy sluggers of the business college, at the shop yard grounds last Saturday resulted in a victory for the high school boys, the score being 28 to 20.
