Aitkin defeats Cardinals

AITKIN - Aitkin's Kyle Mindrum required two tie-breaker sets before he was able to claim a No. 3 singles victory and help the Gobblers to a 5-2 non-conference win over the Staples-Motley Cardinals Thursday.

The Gobblers swept the doubles and picked up a win at No. 4 singles by Dan Klucas.

Jordan Peterson at No. 1 singles, and Mike Lindaman, at No. 2, secured S-M's points.
