HOWARD LAKE -- Kim Stangl led the field at the Central Minnesota Conference girls' golf meet Friday shooting a 47 and helping the Pierz Pioneers to victory.

Pierz's Christy Virnig shot a 49 and Casey Otremba recorded a 50.

Larson's 84 leads Patriots

PERHAM -- Pequot Lakes senior Kim Larson shot an 84 to lead the Patriots to eighth place at the Perham Invitational Friday.

The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines tied for ninth and were led by Chassy Dreger, who shot an 89. Ashley Longbella led Staples-Motley with an 87.
