Just For Kix teams compete in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- Twelve Brainerd Just For Kix dance teams competed April 6 at Halenbeck Hall on the campus of St. Cloud State University.

A total of 93 teams from Minnesota and North Dakota competed.

Gold Level Certification was awarded to teams demonstrating a Superior performance. Reaching gold level status were: Brainerd fourth grade, Brainerd fifth grade, Brainerd Star Makers Jazz Team, Brainerd Rising Star Jazz Team, Brainerd eighth grade A Team, Brainerd ninth grade A Team and Brainerd sixth grade Thursday Team.

Results: Brainerd Star Makers Jazz (Class A), first place; Brainerd Rising Stars Jazz (Class B), second; Brainerd fourth grade , fifth (Coach Clough); Brainerd fifth grade, second (Coach Kavanaugh); Brainerd ninth grade B, fourth, (Coach Ebinger); Brainerd eighth grade B, fifth (Coach Clough); Brainerd eighth grade A, third (Coach Clough); Brainerd ninth grade A, second (Coach Ebinger); Brainerd seventh grade Monday Team, fourth (Coach Ebinger); Brainerd sixth grade Thursday Team, tied for first (Coach Kavanaugh); Brainerd sixth grade Monday Team, fourth (Ebinger); and Brainerd seventh grade Monday Team, third (Clough).
