A music team from Carpenter's Tools International Music Ministries, an international music ministry, will be presenting a concert at 11 a.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Pillager. The First Baptist Church is currently meeting at the Pillager School.
UMW spring meeting at Little Falls
First United Church of Little Falls will be the site of the spring meeting of the United Methodist Women of the Northeast District when they meet on April 24 beginning with registration plus coffee and muffins with Emma at 8:30 a.m. Ruth Sejnoha, Nashwauk, NE District UMW president, will call the meeting to order at 9:15 a.m. Shirley Langland, Pequot Lakes, vice president, has chosen the theme "Crossing Boundaries" for the day and the guest speaker will be Marianne Yager, licensed chemical dependency counselor. Other highlights of the day will be worship, special music, awarding certificates for 5-Star Units, Mission Today Units and UMW women taking part in the reading program. Offering will be divided between Emma Norton Services and Undesignated Giving for Missions. A closing worship will conclude the day. Reservations need to be made by Monday for the $7 luncheon, $8 at the door, to Betz Tepley, 15189 120th Ave., Little Falls, MN 56345.
Revival services
The Community Church of the Nazarene, 21704 County Rd. 3, Merrifield, announces special revival services set for April 18-21. Services times are 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. weeknights. The Rev. Mike and Mary Konkle, Muncie, Ind., will speak.
First Congregational Church UCC forum
First Congregational United Church of Christ, Brainerd, will continue their weekly forum series Sunday with a presentation by Michael Hopps and Sharon Fodness concerning the topic "Globalization." All interested persons are invited to attend. Forums start at 11:15 a.m. following church services at 10 a.m. The church is located at 415 Juniper Street, across from the southeast corner of Gregory Park.
Pequot outreach center to break ground
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Pequot Lakes Baptist Church Outreach Center will be 2 p.m. Sunday. The community outreach center will be located near the church, in the Pequot Lakes industrial park. It will have basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts, a running track, classrooms, locker rooms, a stage, a kitchen and a dining room available for public use.
