Warrior girls take first at Apollo quadrangular

ST. CLOUD -- Brainerd Warrior girls won eight events and the team title Tuesday in a Central Lakes Conference quadrangular track and field meet at St. Cloud Apollo.

Warrior boys won six events and finished second in team competition.

Individual winners for the Brainerd girls included Jenni Beilke in the 100 dash, Audree Goodew in the 1600 run, Ashley Schmolke in the 400 dash, Christina Roberts in the 800 run, Maria Swanson in shot put and Ally Hartje in triple jump.

Boys' individual winners were Riley Cullinane in the 200 dash, Justin Grunewald in the 3200, James Strand in the 300 hurdles and Will Kassulker in the shot put.
