Andrew 'Jim' J. Grgurich

CROSBY -- Andrew "Jim" John Grgurich, 83, Crosby, died Friday, April 12, 2002, at St. Elizabeth's Health Care Center in Wabasha.

He was born March 23, 1919, in Crosby to John and Katherina (Rachi) Grgurich. He married Vernice M. Furtado on Feb. 23, 1946, in Fairhaven, Mass. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby, Knights of Columbus and Myrin James American Legion Post No. 443 in Ironton.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James Grgurich, St. Paul; a daughter, Cathy Hotal, San Diego; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann Freeman and Elsie Gertz, both of Brainerd.

A brother, John Grgurich, and a sister, Sophie Pinske, died earlier.

Services will be held at a later date.
