Boy Scouts from East Gull Lake are in the finishing stages of a project which they hope will never be called on for actual use. Working with Cass County Sheriff Simpson, the boys and their leader have organized a reserve unit which will operate on Gull Lake this summer.

Tentative arrangements for the 1942 drive in the interests of the USO in Crow Wing County was under discussion today. The quota for Crow Wing County is $4,000 to be raised in Brainerd and villages and townships in this county.
