Pierz capitalizes on Pequot errors

PIERZ - The Pierz Pioneers were helped by nine Pequot Lakes errors on their way to a 14-3 non-conference win Monday.

Megan Boser went 3-4 with one RBI and a run. Shelby Fuhrman went 2-4 with a double, four RBIs and two runs and Katelyn Fuhrman was 2-4 with two RBIs and two singles.

Hannah Groves pitched the win. She struck out fie, walked three and allowed three earned runs.

Pequot's Rachael Langer went 3-for-3 with a double. Kelsey Friesz was 2-2 with an RBI and Ashely Zimmerman hit a two-run single in the second.
