Wildfire training day at Camp Ripley

A Minnesota Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopter dropped a bucket of water Wednesday on a controlled burn at Camp Ripley during a wildfire training exercise.

A Minnesota Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopter lifted a bucket full of water Wednesday from a Camp Ripley pond during a wildfire training exercise. The water weighed about 5,700 pounds, causing the helicopter's engines to strain, noted by the rotors in a cone shape.
