Flyer netters stop Brainerd 6-1

LITTLE FALLS -- The Little Falls Flyers won crucial matches at No. 3 singles and at No. 2 and 3 doubles in a 6-1 triumph over the Brainerd Warriors Thursday.

The Warriors John Cairns picked up a victory at No. 2 singles with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Ryan Schrupp.

"We are kind of young and inexperienced in our starting lineup," Warrior head coach Bruce Thompson said. "We hope to improve on some things as the season continues."
