ANOKA (AP) -- Morgan Grams, the son of U.S. Sen. Rod Grams, pleaded guilty to more charges involving a rental car incident last summer.
Morgan Grams on Wednesday admitted using the vehicle without consent, offering a forged check and fraud. Sentencing was set for next month.
He was stopped last July in a borrowed rental vehicle after his father called the Anoka County sheriff for help finding his son. A deputy found 10 bags of marijuana and several beer cans in the vehicle, but Morgan Grams was not initially questioned about the items, leading to questions about special treatment because of his father's position.
