ST. PAUL (AP) -- Randy Moss could soon be taking his own ride on the hood of a car -- as a hood ornament.
The St. Paul Saints baseball team plans to give away "Randy Moss" hood ornaments at an Aug. 16 game.
The ornament is a clear reference to Moss bumping a traffic control agent last year with his car while trying to make a turn against her instructions. Moss pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor driving charges. Saints spokesman Dave Wright said the hood ornament is expected to be a generic football player in a posed form, but he won't be wearing Vikings purple or have a number on his jersey.
