ST PAUL -- The Central Lakes College Raiders softball team ran into a tough St. Thomas junior varsity team losing both games of a double header 6-0 and 10-1.
"This was a great learning situation for us," said Raiders coach Dennis Eastman. "We found out why their varsity is rated number four in the nation in Division III. Their J.V. is awesome."
Tara Storts was a bright spot in a couple of hard contests for the Raiders, hitting a seventh inning solo shot to prevent a second shut out.
