Tarnished star

I'm calling about Kirby Puckett's verdict last week. In all the announcements that came from Kirby's office and himself, I am amazed that he said several times that he had the best attorneys in Minnesota. Why didn't he say he was very sorry toward the victim and the whole situation? Kirby, you're star has been tarnished.

Likes Baxter, not the smoke

My message is to the people who love living in Baxter. I also love living in Baxter but I am allergic to smoke. I have a grandson who had to go to the hospital and then on a nebulizer because of our neighbor's smoldering leaves. The living in Baxter is great but the smoke is not great for everybody.

To war protesters

Please read the article, "Protesters Crying Out," in The Brainerd Daily Dispatch, March 20, Page 14A. I'm glad that woman belongs to your group, not mine. Are you proud of the group called "Code Pink," all women who paraded around naked in New York City for your cause? Go to the Cities and protest. Hopefully soon, Gov. Pawlenty will make you pay the costs of your arrest for purposely burdening law enforcement.
