Neugebauer knocks CLC to win over Hibbing

Stephanie Neugebauer went 4-for-6 with four runs, three RBIs, and two home runs as the Central Lakes Raiders went 2-0 in a doubleheader against the Hibbing Cardinals during Northern Division play Thursday.

"We showed improvement over the first couple of games," Raiders' coach Bob Sullivan said. "We are showing improvement in our batting. Our defense has been getting stronger. We're allowing fewer runs. We just need to continue to improve as we go along."

Olivia Graham pitched seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts for the Raiders to earn the 7-3 Game One win, while Ashley Erickson pitched five innings for an 11-1 Game Two win.

Brittany Gravelle went 2-3 with an RBI during the first game.
