The 14th annual North Central Speedway Stock Car Show is Friday and Saturday at the Westgate Mall.

More than 30 cars from the five classes that race at the one-third mile dirt track will be on display. The Easter Bunny will arrive in the speedway's pace car at noon Saturday.

11-year-old tryouts Sunday

A tryout for the Brainerd 11-year-old traveling baseball team is scheduled 4 p.m. Sunday at Bane Park.

Brainerd Blues tryout Friday

A tryout for the Brainerd Blues 12-under traveling baseball team is scheduled 5 p.m. Friday at the Bane Park Pony League Field.

The tryout is for 11- and 12-year-olds. Contact coach Edin Murray (829-3283) with any questions.

Bonsante to fight Friday

Crosby-Ironton High School graduate Tony Bonsante will box in the main event on a card 8 p.m. Friday at Grand Casino Hinckley.
