The Brainerd High School Band will perform at Florida's Sea World as part of the band trip this week.

30 years ago (1973)

Ever hear of Trunk Highway 322? It does happen to be in Brainerd and it also happens to be the shortest highway in the state. Just 264 yards long, TH 322 covers the two-block stretch along Oak Street from Sixth to Eighth.

40 years ago (1963)

Brainerd young people are on the move this week. By foot, bicycle and horseback they are catching the fever of President Kennedy's physical fitness program and are out to prove that they are in shape.

60 years ago (1943)
