In 13 years Kathy Tuil has never missed a single roll call. Kathy, now a senior at Brainerd High School, has maintained a perfect attendance record since kindergarten.

Coach Bud Schmid and his Brainerd High School Warriors Tennis team made it two straight dual meet wins with a 3 to 2 conquest of Hibbing here Tuesday.

40 years ago (1962)

Winter returned to Brainerd this weekend with cool temperatures and a 2-inch snowfall. The total snowfall for the season has now reached 47 3/4 inches.

Following reports circulated at St. Cloud and the Twin Cities that the Stoner Dam on the Crow Wing River 11 miles from Brainerd had gone out Monday, The Brainerd Daily Dispatch kept up its lines of communication with the dam and was informed it was safe and holding.
