On March 12, 2004, the Minneapolis Star Tribune had a story in the Outdoors section about an Ohio minnow hauler who is fighting to keep his 65,000 pound semi from being confiscated by the Minnesota DNR fisheries over a free permit. All the other charges have been dismissed except the free permit. The DNR has told some haulers the free permit is unnecessary.
