FERGUS FALLS -- The Central Lakes Raiders opened their baseball season Monday by splitting a doubleheader with Fergus Falls.
CLC lost the first game 8-2. Freshman Tim Voigt knocked out two hits while Adam Hardy and Brent Leiser drove in runs for the Raiders. Ben Jukich pitched four solid innings for CLC but took the loss.
In the second game, the Raiders were led by Jon Reis and Tim Voigt in a 7-6 victory.
Reis hit a home run along with a 3-run double down the right field line. Voigt ripped three singles, finishing 5-for-6 on the afternoon.
Andy Howie picked up the win, striking out 11 batters. Brent Leiser shut the door to pick up a save.
