BURTRUM -- Donna M. Baum, 66, Burtrum, died Friday, April 5, 2002, at her home.
She was born April 14, 1935, in Little Falls, to Peter and Mary (Lempke) Oldakowski. She grew up on the family farm near Sobieski. She attended school in Little Falls. She married William Baum on April 19, 1952, in Little Falls. They moved to Center City in 1954. In 1972, they moved to Little Falls. Recently, she lived in Burtrum. She worked at Duckwall-Alco in Long Prairie as a clerk. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle.
Survivors include four sons, Steve Baum, Burtrum, Tom Baum, Little Falls, Michael Baum, Long Prairie, Scott Baum, Sauk Centre; two daughters, Susan Hampson, Plymouth, and Debra Wittwer, Little Falls; three brothers, Robert Oldakowski, Buckman, Mark Oldakowski, Cushing, and Maurice Oldakowski, Grand Rapids; two sisters, Ramona Mack, Virginia, Philomen Salser, Maryland; 18 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Her husband, parents, a brother, Ervin Oldakowski, and a great grandson, Austin Eggert, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stanislaus Catholic Church in Sobieski with Father David Grundman officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Parish Cemetery in Sobieski.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Brenny Funeral Home West Chapel in Little Falls and from 9 a.m. until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home. The rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. today followed by parish prayers at 6:30 p.m.
