The Heartland Animal Rescue Team will host its seventh annual "Hoofin' It for HART" pets and people walk-a-thon from 9:30 a.m. to noon May 4.
This is an opportunity for animals and their owners to share a day together and at the same time raise funds to support the animal shelter.
The 4.2-mile walk-a-thon will start at the Northland Arboretum parking lot behind the Westgate Mall and continue through the trails at the arboretum. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. The walk will begin at 10 a.m. and end about 11:30 a.m. May 4 with prizes and giveaways.
Pledge sheets are available at the HART office, 1401 Danielson Road N. in Baxter. For more information, contact HART at 829-4141.
