Cass County Board voted to take Cass County out of the four-county aerial spraying program which in previous years has been used by the County Land Office to kill other vegetation in conifer plantations.

Citizen State Bank is now sponsoring the Youth Employment Service which was initiated last year by Bud Henderson of Viking Tire Service. Walter Armstrong will be in charge of the service.

Announcement that the patient population at the Brainerd State School and Hospital soon will reach 1,000. Annexation of the State Hospital and nearby areas could mean the addition of several thousand dollars to city receipts each year because at least three state allotments are based on population.

Consideration of a "Dry Night Club" for Brainerd young people is now up to the parents, according to a statement made by Stuart Fisher, retiring president of the Washington P.T.A.
