Wind energy to be topic of April 14 Crosslake Chautauqua

CROSSLAKE - The potential of wind as part of the solution in the search for clean, renewable energy will be the topic of a Crosslake Chautauqua program entitled "The Answer is Blowing in the Wind." The presenter will be Craig Fink, president of Denali Energy.

The session is scheduled from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 14 at the Crosslake Community Center.

Among the topics that will be discussed are new efficiencies, technology, storage and transmission issues and estimations of when wind may become a significant component in the national power grid.
