June H. Erickson
June H. Erickson, age 88, resident of Brainerd, died Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2005, at St. Joseph's Medical Center from complications of a stroke. June was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Slayton, Minn., to Jesse and Beatrice (Deden) Jenson. She married Daniel Erickson on July 6, 1947, in Dawson, Minn.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; daughters, Marge (Tom) Klein, of Oakdale, Minn., Diane (Rich) McGowen, of Plymouth, Minn.; grandchildren, Kelly Klein, of Eagan, Minn., Todd (Sara) Klein, of Chanhassen, Minn.; sister, Muriel Janke, of Alexandria, Minn.; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Jenson, of Watertown, S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Violet DeGeer; and brother, Herbert Jenson.
June was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Jolly Freetimers and the Bethel/Capernaum Circle. She enjoyed family, researching family genealogy and gardening.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2005, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor David Holte officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at Camp Ripley.
