Winter storm warnings and advisories far southern minnesota today...

Today...Snow south...Heavy at times. Total accumulation as much as 10 inches along the iowa border with 2 to 5 inches remainder of the far south. Areas of blowing snow far south. Mainly cloudy central and partly cloudy north. Highs from the 40s north to 30s south.

Tonight...Partly cloudy. Lingering evening snow southeast. Lows from the teens to lower 20s.

Tuesday...Partly cloudy and warmer. Highs the upper 30s south to upper 40s north. Tuesday night...Clear to partly cloudy. Lows mainly in the 20s.

Wednesday...Partly cloudy. Highs from the mid 60s northwest to near 50 southeast.

Thursday...A chance of showers northeast. Lows in the 30s. Highs from the mid 50s to mid 60s. Friday...Partly cloudy. A chance of showers east. Lows in the lower 30s northeast to lower 40s far south. Highs from the 50s northeast to mid 60s south.
