John C. Putz

VERNDALE -- John C. Putz, 57, Verndale, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.

He was born Nov. 17, 1945, in Eau Claire, Wis., to Rienhardt and Mary (Uebel) Putz. He married Connie Hoemberg on Nov. 23, 1974, in Brackett, Wis. He attended school at Eau Claire University. He worked for Uniroyal in Eau Claire, the National O Ring in Downey, Calif., and Purosi-Hadbar in Monrovia, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; a son, Mathew Putz, Baxter; a daughter, Colleen Putz, Fullerton, Calif.; two grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Putz, Houston.

His parents died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Frederick's Catholic Church in Verndale with Father Albert Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are with Bielema Family Funeral Home in Verndale.
