Informational meeting for scholarship pageant planned

The Miss Brainerd Lakes Scholarship Program is looking for contestants for the 2010 Miss Brainerd Lakes Scholarship Pageant.
There will be an informational meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Brainerd High School South Campus Media Center. The pageant is open to unmarried, young women between the ages of 17 and 24, who live within the Brainerd School District or attend school within the Brainerd School District.
Miss Brainerd Lakes is a preliminary competition to the Miss Minnesota and Miss America Pageants. This year's pageant will take place at 7 p.m. June 26 at Tornstrom Auditorium.
