LITTLE FALLS -- The Little Falls Flyers opened the baseball season with a bang, beating the Benson Braves 12-2 in a non-conference game Tuesday.
Paul Krebs, who picked up the win on the mound, went 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run and a triple. Jarrett Woldoch also homered for the Flyers and Jake Kluver added two doubles.

Albany 4, Pierz 3
ALBANY -- The Albany Huskies tied Pierz in the seventh inning and then won the game in the bottom of the 10th as Albany's Kurt Schlangen drove in the winning run to down the Pioneers 4-3 Tuesday.
Jeremy Monson had a double and drove in two runs and Mike Pohlkamp added a hit and an RBI in the loss for Pierz.
