Summer road maintenance plans announced

WALKER -- Cass County Highway Department has set the summer road maintenance program for this year.
The county will apply 42,900 tons of gravel on 37.5 miles of county and state aid roads before applying 399,696 gallons of chloride on 151.4 miles of gravel roads.
Roads in the chloride program scheduled to receive the additional gravel overlay on part or all of the length this year include County State Aid Highways 19, 25, 28, 40, 50, 57 and 68; County Roads 109, 115 and 117; and Forest Highway 2112.
