HILLMAN -- Sybella E. (Bujarski) Salzbrun, 90, Hillman, died Friday, April 5, 2002, at the Mille Lacs Nursing Home in Onamia.
She was born Feb. 24, 1912, in Buckman Township, Morrison County, to Adolph and Minnie (Kriefall) Briese. She grew up in Morrill Township and attended country school. She married John T. Bujarski on Feb. 8, 1932, at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Brennyville. They dairy farmed in Morrill Township until retiring in 1966 to Hillman. She married Leo Salzbrun on May 23, 1970, at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Hillman where they lived. She was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Hillman, Christian Women and the Hillman American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Pauline Moren, Pierz; a son, Vern Bujarski, Hillman; a stepson, LeRoy Salzbrun, Gold Canyon, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Her husbands, John Bujarski and Leo Salzbrun; a son, Norbert Bujarski; and a sister, Esther Gnifkowski, died earlier.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Hillman with the Rev. Raymond Steffes and the Rev. Nathan Packard officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, with St. Rita's Christian Women praying the rosary at 6 p.m. and parish prayers at 7 p.m., at Shelley-Virnig Funeral Chapel in Pierz, and from 9:30 a.m. until services Monday at the church.
